Akashteer Systems

In response to rapidly increasing global security concerns, the Indian Army has significantly strengthened its air defence capabilities by acquiring 100 Akashteer Air Defence Control and Reporting Systems (ADCRS).


Key Highlights 
  • Akashteer System is an integrated control and reporting system designed to neutralise enemy threats. 
  • Developed by: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).
  • The system integrates radars, sensors, and communication technologies to provide a real-time battlefield view.
  • The integrated systems will enhance the operational capabilities of the Indian Military and enable them to easily detect, track and neutralise aerial threats including missile and rocket attacks.
  • The Akashteer System is vehicle-based, making it mobile and adaptable to hostile environments.
