PM E Drive Scheme
Recently, the Union Cabinet approved the proposal of the Ministry of Heavy Industries for the implementation of the PM E Drive Scheme to promote electric vehicle mobility in India.
Key Highlights
- It is an initiative of the Government of India dedicated to addressing environmental pollution and fuel security concerns.
- It will also enhance the mobility of electric vehicles throughout the country.
- The scheme is introducing an Aadhaar-authenticated e-voucher for EV buyers to avail of demand incentives under the scheme.

Objectives of the PM E Drive Scheme
