A recent study shows that the increased risk of Alzheimer's disease is linked to night light pollution.

  • It affects the body's natural circadian rhythms, which regulate the sleep cycle, leading to conditions like diabetes and depression, which also increase the risk of Alzheimer's.

  • It is characterized by the formation of plaques and tangles in the brain. 
  • It is caused by many different diseases that directly or indirectly affect brain functioning.
