Exercise Tarang Shakti
Recently, the Indian Air Force conducted a multination air exercise in Tamil Nadu.
Key Highlights
- It is India’s first multinational air exercise.
- Participants: In this exercise, nearly 30 countries will participate, and out of 30, 10 countries will join the exercise with their fighter aircraft including Australia, Bangladesh, France, Germany, Greece, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the USA, and Singapore. 18 other countries will attend as observers.
Objectives
- To showcase India’s defence capabilities
- Enhance cooperation among various nations.
- It aims to enhance the proficiency of the Indian Air Force to tackle challenging obstacles.
- Exercise Features: Ground training, Defence exhibitions, and Cultural exchange programs.
