PREFIRE (Polar Radiant Energy in the Far-InfraRed Experiment) is a space mission to study heat loss to space in Earth’s polar regions, specifically focusing on the Arctic and Antarctica.
National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has recently launched a pair of satellites called CubeSats (6U) to study heat loss to space in Earth’s polar regions.
It is jointly developed by NASA and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
