Secretary of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) visiting Bangladesh for bilateral discussions to renew the MOU between the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) India and Bangladesh Ministry of Public Administration for the period 2024-2029.
(i) The National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) was set up in 2014 by the Government of India.
(ii) It is an apex–level autonomous body under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India.
(iii) It has been set up to assist in bringing about good governance reforms through studies, training, knowledge sharing and promotion of innovative ideas.
(iv) It is headed by the Cabinet Secretary.
(v) The NCGG also has a Management Committee consisting of 12 ex officio members, headed by the Secretary.
(vi) Head Office: Its head office is at New Delhi and the branch office at Mussoorie, Uttarakhand.
