India’s first Agriculture Export Facilitation Centre
• Mahratta Chamber of Commerce Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA), in association with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), launched India's first Agriculture Export Facilitation Center (AEFC).
• The Center would guide the prospective exporters on various relevant aspects of the ‘farm-to-fork chain of agro-exports through its experts.
• It would organize awareness programs, training programs, and workshops on the related aspects, organize visits to export houses for getting practical guidance, organize buyer-seller meetings, etc.
• It will provide guidance in areas such as Minimum residue level, orchard management, branding and marketing, country-wise protocols, special export treatments, and government export schemes.
